Sewell Wallis are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant role in Sheffield city centre. The business have a smaller accounts department which means that staff members generally have varied roles and this is no exception. The successful candidate would be responsible for Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger maintenance, weekly Payroll processing and general reconciliations.

Duties:
- Processing weekly wages for drivers, foremen, production assistants.
- Raising, posting and sending sales invoices.
- Reconciling customer statements.
- Entering purchase invoices onto Sage.
- Ensuring BACs payments are made to timely deadlines.
- VAT calculation.
- Daily Bank reconciliations.

Requirements:
- Experience in an accounts role.
- Experience of using Excel and Sage accounting system.
- Good attention to detail.

Hours: Full time
Salary: £18,000
