Financial Controller required for our client, a luxury Casino based in the heart of London with an extremely high profile clientele.

The client is ideally looking for a newly qualified - 3 years PQE either straight from Practice or industry, however candidates, understandably with either Casino or Gaming experience would be hugely preferred.

You will be managing a team of 4 transactional and part qualified accountants and have responsibility and oversea both the management and financial accounting functions as well as have regular liaison with the FD, CEO and Parent Group stakeholders.

Key skills:

* NQ-3 years PQE, either from industry (Casino / Gaming / Leisure / Media preferred) or straight from Practice
* Previous management experience is essential as you will have immediate management responsibility
* Strong management and financial accounting experience, especially, credible with report writing as you will report to the parent company on a regular basis
* Strong communication skills as well as commercial, ambitious with the gravitas to liaise at all levels of the business

Role will include:

* Manage a finance team of 4; Management Accountant, Gaming Accountant, Player Accountant and Purchase Ledger & Cash Assistant to meet work requirements
* Develop finance team members; set goals and manage appraisal process to meet future needs of the business
* Overseeing a large range of assets in financial terms, reporting on the movements of cash and resources into and out of the Club, ensuring that the Club's procedures and interests are always paramount.
* Management of debt financing and banking facilities
* Cash flow management and forecasting.
* Management of foreign currency cash balances.
* Management of inter-company balances.
* Weekly 1-2-1 meetings with team members to review work and progress
* Review of monthly reconciliations, flash & month end management accounts
* Preparation of interim financial reporting to group parent company
* Provide commercial analysis to directors and business partner with the business
* Preparation of annual budget and new business plans
* Manage the statutory audit and completion of statutory accounts
* Liaising with tax and other external advisors
* Internal Audit of company operations and updating audit risk register
* Identification of internal projects and process improvements.
* Assisting the Finance Director with ad hoc tasks.
