Linsco are currently searching for an experienced Quantity Surveyor, for a highly successful Facilities Services client of ours that has experienced steady growth and has established themselves as a leading name in the Facilities Management industry. This role is based in the Hertfordshire and Manchester area, making this a great opportunity for an individual in the area looking for a local opportunity. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong track record in Subcontractor Procurement with a Main Contractor either in Facilities Management or Construction.

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limiting to;

* Procuring Health Sector Subcontractor Packages initially focusing on planned and reactive maintenance packages
* Preparing the basis of work package contents sheets and ensure the project team contribute and complete their relevant sections. Carry out gap analysis between packages to ensure full and complete subcontract procurement takes place.
* Ensuring that subcontract works are procured in an efficient manner with capable organisations in accordance with the procurement policy and procedures and ensure appropriate records are kept
* Working with supply chain to promote and measure continuous improvement in terms of cost, quality and learning of all parties
* Prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tender returns (time, cost, quality and SHE) and make recommendations to appoint and place subcontracts, all in accordance with the procurement process
* Prepare project procurement schedule and ensure the project teams contribute and complete their relevant sections. Carry out subcontract procurement in accordance with the procurement timetable, in accordance with the procurement policy ans supply chain strategy.

To be considered and successful for the opportunity, you must have, but not limiting to;

* Extensive procurement and subcontract procurement experience within facilities management or construction for a main contractor or similar
* Ideally, a background in quantity surveying with a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
* Experience procuring subcontractors for various reactive and planned maintenance, or construction and refurb projects for the Health Sector

In return, you will be rewarded with a salary of up to £50,000 (DOE) and various company benefits.
