This will be an amazing opportunity for someone who has worked in an automotive engineering environment and understands technical processes like 'castings' and 'pattern equipment'.

As a Senior Buyer, you will be leading a team of buyers for our business. You will be involved in purchasing raw materials, working with the manufacturing, design and sales teams to enable them to meet deadlines.

You will be responsible for getting the very best commercial deal possible for Titan whilst maintaining a cordial relationship with the supply chain.

You will also think strategically when appropriate with the decision as to where and when to procure materials and services.

The responsibilities and duties of the role are:

* Ensure parts are delivered on time
* Contribute to the Purchasing Positive Variance
* Build excellent relationships with suppliers, continually working on an annual cost down program
* Evaluate and approve suppliers in line with quality standards and Titan audit processes
* Monitor and report supplier performance to compliment objectives on delivery and inventory
* Identify solutions to resolve supply with the Planning Team
* Participate in New Product introduction projects
* Management of staff
* Make decisions with respect to make or buy.

Essential Requirements:

* Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSE's at Grade B or above (including English and Maths)
* Minimum CIPS Level 4
* Experience using ERP systems - you will be hands on in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is key
* Experience of purchasing castings, pattern equipment and working with foundries
* Proven track record in a similar/relevant position
* Motivated, driven, able to work alone and as part of a team
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience of working in a fast paced engineering and manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements:

* Experience of managing staff
