Residential SEN Support Worker.

Are you looking for a Residential Support Worker opportunity without having to commit to night shifts and long hours?

I am currently looking to fill a number of exciting positions which involve working within the children's sector of a large special needs residential base.

About the role:
- Supporting 3-19 year olds who have been diagnosed with profound and multiple learning difficulties as well as multi-sensory impairments.
- Contributing to the day to day running of the home.
- Ensuring that the children's individual needs are met including delivery of personal care.
- Promoting positive behaviour and dealing with challenging incidents.

The ideal individual:
* Will hold NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
* Will have experience working with special needs or learning/physical disabilities
* Ability to administer medication (training will be provided)
* Will be comfortable with personal care, including toileting
* Maintain Emergency First Aid qualification or commitment to undertake qualification
* Good time-keeping, reliable and a flexible approach to work

This is a temporary to permanent contract. You must be flexible over the full 7 days and able to commit to a 37.5 hour per week contract.
