Introduction

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Systems Engineer to join a world leader in remote handling for hostile environments. This includes Nuclear Fusion, Nuclear Decommissioning, and High Energy Physics experiments.

Having just been purchased by a larger organisation, now this perfect time to join this business going through a strong growth period.

The Job

As a Systems Engineers you will support the more specialised teams of design, manufacturing, control electronics and software engineers with emphasis on the interfaces between the engineering disciplines. As well as the management of requirements, top-down concepts, and customer liaison.

Working from their headquarters near Oxford, you will be reporting into the Operations Manager and will expected to maintain and progress the businesses system engineering approach and methodologies.
Duties will include.

* Design Assurance
* FMEAs
* Risk Assessments (Including CDM)
* Cost Benefit Analysis
* Tendering

The Candidate

Candidates will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline. Alongside experience with complex electro mechanical systems (nuclear, shipbuilding, aerospace or medical)

Experience gained in the nuclear industry is not essential, but desirable.
A knowledge of Enterprise Architect would be desirable.
