Service and Maintenance Engineer

Manchester based (to cover the North UK)

Full time, Permanent, £9.62 per hour whilst training (increases when training completed)

Responsibilities

- Servicing systems and producing reports to clients
- Attending technical site visits
- Installing equipment when required
- Remedial and upgrade work as required
- Technical reports following site visits
- Raising opportunities for sales of additional items or services, including maintenance
- Responsibility for own Health and Safety (training provided)
- Assisting with stock counts and maintaining suitable van stock
- Carrying out admin work relating to activities
- Ability to maintain customer relations
- Any other reasonable tasks that may be required for time to time
Candidate

An ideal Service and Maintenance Engineer candidate will be able to show:

Professional Requirements

- Electrical qualifications would be advantageous
- Knowledge of pumps and control systems also helpful
- Computer literate (with experience of Microsoft packages)
- Understanding of Health and Safety at work
- If not already achieved, happy to work towards CSCS, working at height and working in confined spaces qualifications

Personal Requirements

- Enthusiastic and hardworking attitude
- A team player
- Flexible to stay away when required (expenses paid)
- Organised and methodical, with attention to detail
- Confident telephone manner
- Full driving licence
-Van, laptop and mobile phone all provided as soon as employment commences

Our established and market leading client are recruiting for a Service and Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This position is full time and permanent and will cover the Northof the UK (Reporting into the head office in Nottinghamshire).
