Assistant Project Manager:

The Assistant Project Manager is to report directly, in the first instance, to the site Project Manager on all matters relating directly to the day to day running of the site.

The Assistant Project Manager will assist with responsibility for the required standards of Health & Safety, protection of works and quality of works.

The Assistant Site Manager will be required to hold a current CSCS Black Card

General Duties & Responsibilities:

(The following list of duties and responsibilities is intended to reflect the principal elements of the role and therefore is not exhaustive):

Ability to read, understand and comply with all company policies, procedures etc. at all times

Alongside the Project Manager, to take ownership of the build programme and assist the PM in carrying out all required tasks.

Assist in ensuring that company Health & Safety procedures are strictly adhered to and to maintain and produce, upon request, up to date H&S records.

Assist with the organisation of site production meetings and ensure sufficient usage of all resources, including application of quality supervision and communication with operatives, sub-contractors etc.

Assist in ensuring that site security and good practice is maintained at all times.

Ensure that all sub-contractors work within the required specification and adhere to all company procedures and policies.

Ensure that sufficient and satisfactory site management cover is in place for holidays, training and unexpected absences of PM due to sickness etc.

Carry out all site safety inductions, daily briefings and Tool Box Talks.

Deal with general public as needs arise, in a professional and friendly manner
Carry out any other reasonable tasks in accordance with operational needs as requested by your managers
