Service Technician - 24/7 Process Plant
£25,000 - £30,000 plus overtime.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician / Site Technician, to carry out a number of operations & maintenance activities on a 24/7 Process Plant in York. Our client is a leading organisation within the Renewable Energy sector, with the opportunity for a Maintenance Technician / Operator to join their service team.

As part of a small team, you will be responsible for:

* Carrying out reactive & planned maintenance on the plant
* Conducting routine maintenance tasks as instructed
* Fault finding
* Monitoring & operating the plant to optimise efficiency
* Ensuring health & safety is adhered to at all times
* Feeding fuel (renewable)
* Other duties as required

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in working as a Technician on large/heavy plant and ideally within a heavy process environment (waste, anaerobic digestion, CHP). You should have relevant qualifications (maintenance focused, mechanical or electrical) and those with operations experience on SCADA control systems are desirable. You will need to have a degree of flexibility as overtime, call outs are required.

The package on offer includes a starting salary in the range of £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) plus company benefits incl. overtime, holidays, etc.
