Qualified Social Worker - Family & Assessment - Cornwall

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker - Children's Families First within the Social Care industry in Durham. The Qualified Social Worker - Family & Assessment - Cornwall vacancy within Bodmin will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Responsibilities include:

* Working within the Family & Assessment social work team dealing with all aspects of case management working with CIN, Children's and Families and Safeguarding
* Contacting or visiting people who require assessments or reviews either for their current services or because of safeguarding issues
* Completing Single Assessments
* Experience of Section 47 investigations
* Working with families up to the point of the Public Law Outline and some Court Work
* Prioritising work according to need
* Managing an extensive amount of varying service user cases ensuring each is appropriately prioritised and dealt with in an efficient and timely manner

Experience preferred:

Post qualifying experience of working within a statutory Children's Safeguarding Social Work team within the UK.

* Well-structured organised team, growing their social worker staffing levels.

Minimum Requirements:

* HCPC Registration
* 1 year post qualifying experience within UK
* Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
