Our client a Busy Main Dealer in the Wigan area is currently looking for a Local Business Development Manager to unleash the potential of corporate sales opportunities.

The Local Business Development Manager role is the main driving force for the success of the company and is a vital factor in the development and growth of the company. You will have the responsibility of maintaining and developing existing accounts and also generating and sustaining new accounts. You will develop positive relationships with customers and manufacturers and have an innate passion for the product being sold.

You will be responsible for developing relationships with local businesses. You will have personal responsibility for achieving targeted sales volumes and profit from prospects within your allocated territory, within budgetary guidelines on vehicle sales. Through prospecting, follow-up-calls, walk in prospects and internet enquiries you will develop customer relationships through from the first contact to the sale and beyond, providing one point of contact for the end user.

You must be well presented with a desire, character and attitude to succeed in Sales. You will be genuine and honest, someone our Client's customers can trust. A B2B sales background from within the automotive car franchise side of the industry is preferable, however they will also look at candidates with exceptional sales experience within the automotive trade. You will have full computer literacy and excellent interpersonal skills. A strong customer focus is essential alongside being well-mannered with good attention to detail.
