My Client is an established construction company with more than 20 years’ experience in offering quality extensions and renovations. They provide a full design and build service on works undertaken. From initial construction through to final completion, they provide sound, expert advice and innovation solutions. My client is currently looking to require an experienced, motivated and well-organised Administrator / Bookkeeper to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:

- Processing employee time-sheets and staff payroll on a weekly basis.
- Monitoring expenditure, credit cards and suppliers.
- Paying suppliers.
- Month end procedures.
- Submitting VAT returns.
- Raising all sales invoices.
- Chasing debtors.
- Liaising with clients, outside agencies and the construction team.
- Sending emails, making / taking telephone calls and messages etc.
- Providing an efficient clerical and administrative support including typing letters and maintaining an effective filing system.

Requirements:

- Competent user of Sage 50 accounts is essential.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar job role.
- Good communication / IT skills and time management.
- Competent user of Word / Excel.
- Professional and reliable work ethics.
- An understanding of the buildings industry is desirable but not essential.
- Good communication skills.
- Good timekeeping.

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday 9.00am – 4.30 pm (flexible)
Salary:
£10.00 p /h
