CANDIDATE INFORMATION - Electrical Service Engineer

* Recognised industry qualifications as an electrical service engineer
* Good customer services skills, well presented and articulate
* Ability to diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems, emergency lighting, control panels - fire alarm training will also be provided
* Air conditioning knowledge would be advantegious - Our client is also willing to offer f-gas training for the right candidate
* Experience of working on m&e maintenance contracts previously as would experience working on retail contracts in particular
* Motivated and trustworthy

JOB INFORMATION - Electrical Service Engineer

* To undertake electrical works as instructed (lighting, fire alarm testing and emergency lighting maintenance, remedials).
* To organise workload to ensure the works are undertaken as efficiently as possible.
* To provide a breakdown service required.
* To ensure that all tools and other Company equipment are maintained in good, serviceable order.
* To ensure that any work area is left in a clean and tidy state after any maintenance or repair work.
* To complete and return job and worksheets on a weekly basis.
* To complete and return all timesheets and expenses claims for payment by each Tuesday
* To requisition materials as required for the allocated stores' maintenance programme.
* To record the receipt of the above ordered goods.
* To maintain an appropriate stock level at all times for storage in the Company provided vehicle.
* To drive safely and to take good general care of the Company provided vehicle.
* To keep the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition.
* To ensure that the vehicle is serviced at regular intervals.
* To report immediately to your line manager any involvement in accidents and/or damage to the vehicle.
* To arrange any accident repairs and hire vehicle (if necessary) through the authorised repairer after approval from our insurance company.
* To attend courses and other training events in compliance with statutory requirements.
* To attend courses and other training events held to promote changes to general and technical work practices.
