My client, founded by former Michelin-starred chef is looking for a dynamic ad enthusiastic Head Pastry Chef.

The Bakery has built a strong reputation as the go-to supplier of the widest range of quality handcrafted breads, cakes and pastries in the capital. They are looking for a Head Pastry Chef to join their team.

The main purpose of this role is to manage the production of pastry products to meet the customer orders whilst complying with all the standard operational requirements.

You will have two existing assistant head pastry chefs reporting to you and you will report directly to the Bakery Manager. The team consists of 10 who work between the hours of 8am – 5.00pm or 9.00am -6pm, 45 hours per week.

Management skills

• Oversee quality, health and safety
• Manage physical and financial resources
Technical Skills
• To work with Viennoiserie pastry, chocolate and Confectionery
• To adhere to the company Health & Safety rules and procedures
• To ensure the correct pastry products are produced to fulfil customer orders
• To monitor ingredients and stocks and to place orders.
• To ensure orders and packed correctly and in line with standard operating procedures
• To ensure that the workplace is cleared and cleaned at the end of the task

• To motivate your team and be flexible and committed
• To be able to communicate on all levels
• To undertake any relevant training events when required
• To develop the skills of your team and ensure they are fully trained
