Commercial HGV Technician - Immediate Start - £32k to £34k per annum Basic Salary plus Overtime - Reading - Excellent Career Prospects

Clemence Rogers Automotive are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruiting of a HGV Technician to be based in Reading.

Areas of responsibility

*Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles/trailers to VOSA standard

*Diagnose and rectify all types of faults

*Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises

*Liaise with the parts department to attain correct parts

*Ensure health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to

*Ensure appropriate clocking's are made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner

*Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness

*Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses

Candidates should be able to demonstrate

*Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines

*Ability to work under pressure

*Ability to actively seek solutions to problems

*Ability to work as part of a team

*Good verbal communication skills

*Excellent customer care skills

*Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks

*High level of technical knowledge and ability in mechanical repair

*Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements

Hours

*Duel Shift Pattern - 08.00am till 4.30pm and 3.30pm till 10.00pm

*Working Alternate Saturdays - 8am - 1pm

*45 hours per week

*£32k - £34k per annum

*Plus Overtime if required
