An exciting new opportunity has arisen with a national care provider as a Practice Development Lead. The role will involve developing and improving the quality of the services in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, and feeding back to the Services Directors to ensure that the right practices are being followed. The services support individuals with Mental Health conditions, Learning Disabilities, autism and complex needs.

They are looking for someone who is motivated, confident and knowledgeable as they will be actively involved in driving strategies forward, developing action plans with managers, coaching managers and monitoring improvement and compliance. You will also lead and develop Local Volunteer Strategies across the region.

- Salary: £22,427 - £27,091
- 37.5 hours per week which may include weekends and public holidays according to the needs of the service. There will be a need to travel across the area of is a need to travel extensively across the country
- A lease car will be provided as well as mileage allowance

Key skills and Competencies:

- A professional qualification such as social work, nurse, OT or other qualification would be highly desirable due to the practical involvement in the services
- Ideally someone who has experience of managing services
- A track record of working within services for people with Mental Health conditions, as well as knowledge of Learning Disabilities
- Exceptional knowledge of CQC and Key Lines of Enquiry, and ability to carry out thorough audits on services
- A customer focused approach with a demonstrable commitment to person centred thinking and planning of personalised services
- An ability to motivate and engage service users to be involved in the quality of their own care and to take part in the quality improvement agenda.
- Ability to work positively and collaboratively with colleagues, service users and their families, professionals and stakeholders
- Excellent ability with record keeping and written communication to feedback information to Services Directors, and ability to evidence improvements
