Gilbert Meher are working exclusively on behalf of one of the markets leading care providers in the country to recruit an experienced Nursing Home Manager/Deputy on a permanent basis. The company care for residents requiring nursing and residential care in over 70 care homes throughout the UK and have successfully raised the bar in terms of the quality their homes and the care that they provide. 

We're looking for a strong 'hands-on' manager with highly developed leadership and management skills. The Home is supported by a local Regional Manager and support staff. About The Role 

Overseeing all day to day operations of the 40+ bed nursing home
Requires someone with good commercial experience in order to help improve the service
Leading and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, they'll look to you to provide outstanding, truly personalised care to their residents
You will share their passion for putting the needs and wellbeing of the residents first, finding new ways to enrich their resident's lives within the home and delivering outstanding customer care for them and their relatives
You will manage all aspects of their home, including identifying new business opportunities, effectively managing budgets, taking responsibility for the operating profit of the home, and ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained across all relevant areas
About You

Strong clinical knowledge and expertise, plus management qualification
You will know how to make a positive difference within a heavily regulated sector, as you'll have a strong commercial acumen and strategic mind
The ability to develop an environment which focuses on continuous improvements
An effective communicator, with a confident and influential leadership style.
Will consider deputy managers with a minimum of two years' experience
