This is an exciting opportunity to join our client’s National Accounts Sales Team. This team deals with a range of small to medium enterprise resellers across the UK.

Overall Job Purpose:

• Target, Develop and grow a group of set accounts within the channel sector
• Build professional, strategic and productive business relationships with account base via telephone conversations
• Regularly achieve individual revenue and profit targets
• Understand the account base and demonstrate accurate account mapping / forecasting within all accounts
• Demonstrate growth across all accounts
• Pitch new products into account base
• Providing customer quotations
• Order processing customer orders
• Providing up to date back order reports as required
• General administration relating to the sales process

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have a background in sales, ideally the IT sector but not essential as product training will be given. The candidate will however need to have sales experience and the ability to work to sales targets.

Core skills, Knowledge and Experience:
• Previous track record in sales
• Experience of working in a IT Distributor, IT Reseller Or Broker (Desirable)
• Proactive Account Management
• Experience of conducting client visits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong and disciplined attitude to work
• Good grammatical and numerical skills
• IT knowledge would be a beneficial
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel and mail packages
