Receptionist; Manchester City Centre; £9.22 per hour

Search is recruiting for a temporary receptionist to work until the end of August within a well established environment.

Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Duties

* Meeting and greeting visitors to HR Services and dealing effectively, promptly and courteously with their enquiry.

* Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, employees and managers, directing their enquiries to the correct part of HR Services, providing a consistent and high standard of customer service.

* Ensuring that the purchasing needs of the Directorate are fulfilled including stationery, refreshments, office equipment etc. Ordering in accordance with university procedures as appropriate using Oracle Financials system.

* Issuing staff identification cards.

* Monitoring the HR Services email address and promptly responding, or forwarding for action to the appropriate team.

* Dealing with general telephone calls, answering enquiries and forwarding calls as appropriate.

* Maintaining confidentiality of information and protecting personal data in line with university procedures.

* Maintaining a professional and tidy reception area and undertaking general house-keeping duties.

* Undertaking any other duties commensurate with the responsibilities of the role as directed.

* Ensuring duties are carried out in accordance with equality and diversity policy and good practice.
