THE COMPANY: Our client is one of the leading suppliers and installers of Kitchens and Wardrobes for the High-End Residential contract market in London.

THE ROLE: Head of Design
The focus of this role is to lead and manage the design team who could be working on a high-end residential contract project with anything from 10-300 kitchen units on multi million pound projects. You will attend design meetings with developers and architects as the face of the business and use your understanding of the contract kitchen market place, design expertise and costing knowledge to finalise briefs for the design team. You’ll need to be able to assist and advise when it comes to adding ideas and creativity to your teams designs by feeding back from the client and designers what’s required on a project by project basis.
You will need to be comfortable discussing design principles and developing projects with some of the key decision makers from the most prestigious residential developers across London, demonstrating your expertise and ensuring your design and ability to manage the projected is trusted from day one.
Alongside your design responsibilities you will need to use your commercial experience to capitalise on new business opportunities whenever possible.
In the long term our client is looking for the right individual to move into a directorship role within the business and assume further responsibilities across the company.

THE LOCATION: Office based in Central London.

THE CANDIDATE: Our client is looking for an experienced Kitchen Design Manager with some team management, kitchen design experience along with the commercial acumen and ability to develop projects and manage key client relationships.
You will be used to working in the high-end or luxury residential market and be able to mix your design skills, client facing experience and commercial ability together to be successful in this role.
As a confident manager, you will be a strong communicator and be able to demonstrate previous management experience in a similar position.
