Due to business growth our client is looking to recruit a Rental Administrator to work in our daily car / van rental team.

In this role we will train the individual and develop them as part of the Rental team, although all candidates considered

Key Responsibilities:

- Input new bookings onto IROS
- Off hiring and extending bookings
- Constant monitoring of unallocated/turndowns/unconfirmed
- Daily Extensions (SDH & Hires)
- Checking daily extensions
- Answering the phones and dealing with queries
- Constant monitoring of P11d and ensure reservations have updated
and accurate information
- Obtain and update insurance certificates
- Monitor hire requests and actioning emails and requests in a timely
manner
- In the absence of colleagues provide cover for other rental tasks
- Record & update customer service issues through IROS

Person Specification:

• Experience of working under pressure within a fast paced and ever
changing environment Being able to work within a team and possess a
can do attitude
• Dealing with client queries via email and telephone.
• Processing data and reports accurately to clients.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, must be confident to speak with customers over the phone, polite and courteous attitude. Attention to detail.

Knowledge:

Essentially must have a good understanding of vehicle makes and models, strong customer service and intermediate I.T skills.
Technical competencies: use of Outlook and Microsoft Excel at intermediate Level.
Behavioral competencies:
A polite, responsible and can do attitude is a must. Have the desire to learn new things with the enthusiasm to rise to a challenge. We are looking for someone who possess a strong work ethic whilst adopting a mature attitude.

Package:

The position comes with free life assurance ( 4 X salary ) , pension after qualifying period, loyalty scheme bonus and at the next management grade to this one i.e. 7, the employee is entitled to fully maintained & insured company car provision. It’s a good position to start with our client as no prior experience is needed (but always welcomed). There is free parking, although perhaps due to the starting salary this would suit someone local to our offices.

The job will require working to alternate week shift pattern:-

• 8:15am to 5pm in week 1 ( lunch mid-day to 1pm )
• 9:15am to 6:00 pm in week 2 ( lunch 1pm to 2pm )
• Starting Salary £16.5k
- Run current hire reports and ensure information is correct
- Any other adhoc tasks requested by Team Leader or Rental Manager
