New Way Recruitment Services are currently looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to work for a well- established Training Provider in West London.

You will be required to ensure the agreed objectives and targets within the Business Plan and Budget are met; by providing, leadership, clear direction and support to a team of Assessors, IQA’s, Tutors and Administration staff.

•To provide leadership and management ensuring that staff have clarity of purpose, are motivated and equipped to deliver their role within the business.
•To identify and address performance and operational issues within the team in line Employability objectives, policies and procedures.
•To meet and/ or exceed contractual targets through the achievement of profile to starts, learner retention, success rates, progression and learner attendance.
•To achieve success rates, at least in line with national benchmarks through the effective management of teaching and learning including the delivery of functional skills.
•To drive individual performance and conformance of all contract delivery that meet both contract and regulatory standards and targets.
•To provide accurate MI giving an accurate understanding of performance levels that will enable appropriate business decisions to be made.
•To build and maintain local key stakeholder relationships including employers, referral agencies and partner organisations.
•To undertake accurate assessment of staff performance by tracking success rates and personal observation of activity, ensuring quality training is provided and meets Ofsted level 2 performance levels for teaching.
•To manage compliance and ensure that error rates are below target.
•To maintain data and produce weekly and monthly reports to show progress against targets.
•To maintain a local quality improvement plan.
•To produce a local community engagement plan.
•To ensure all delivery staff has a clear and measurable set of KPI’s that are effectively managed and recorded.
•To ensure that all delivery staff has the skills required to undertake their roles and to ensure that there is a programme of continuous professional development that meets the needs of all staff.
•To drive change in a positive and influential manner within the team.
•To empower the team to deliver excellence for their learners.
•To ensure all new staff are fully inducted and trained.

•Teaching Qualification
•IAG Qualification

•Awareness of a range of vocational environments.
•Managing teaching and learning.
•Knowledge of session planning / session structure to meet all training requirements.
•Minimum 1 years’ experience of successfully leading and managing a team.
•Experience of using performance management tools.
•Good working knowledge of common IT applications.
•Local Labour Market.
•Awareness of training sector and associated stakeholder requirements (SFA/Ofsted).
•Understanding of all aspects of confidentiality and data protection.

•Ability to communicate effectively at all levels - Employers and Learners.
•Good organisational skills & diary management.
