Service Desk Analyst / Production Support Engineer / Helpdesk Engineer

We're looking to recruit an experienced Service Desk Engineer / Helpdesk Analyst for our highly innovative FS/Media company, headquartered in Canary Wharf. The role will predominantly be supporting a production environment, interacting with both internal and external customers on a daily basis and providing proactive monitoring, support and reporting.

Essential Skills
- Experience as a 1st / 2nd line role in an ISO20000 or ITIL environment
- Experience with online system monitoring (for example Solarwind, Nagios, Zabbix, Opsview etc)
- Excellent database knowledge (MS SQL, Postgres, Sybase, Informix, MySQL etc)
- Experience using Linux Servers (Redhat & Solaris)
- Mobile Support - Android, iOS, iPad, Macbook
- Excellent Communication Skills are a must - you will be dealing with both internal and external customers on a daily basis.

Desirable Experience
- ITIL certification (Problem Management Specialist, Supplier Management Specialist
- Use of Putty for server access, nav and commands
- Experience working with remote support teams across the globe
- XML troubleshooting
- Apache Web Server
