Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting on for a growing business based in Rotherham. They are looking to employ an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to work in large and growing finance team. This temporary position is initially for a period of 3 months on an on going temporary basis. The successful candidate will be immediately available and able to commit to the full 3 month initial contract. This is potential for this position to become permanent for the right individual.

Working as part of the large finance team, assisting in managing a high volume purchase ledger function and reporting directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Duties & Responsibilities:

* Managing a high volume of Purchase Ledger
* Processing automated cheque runs
* Matching invoices to purchase orders
* Supplier Statement Reconciliations
* Liaising with suppliers
* Dealing with invoice and supplier queries
* Processing expenses and credit card statements
* Intrastat Returns and EC Sales
* Processing debit notes
* Dealing with Foreign invoices and passing over for payment
* Managing the invoice discounting process

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following skills or attributes:

* At least 2-3 years previous experience in Purchase Ledger
* Good team player
* Organised and hard working
* Experience of working with foreign invoices
* Knowledge of computerised accounting packages
