Teaching Assistant needed in Sutton Coldfield
Monarch Education are on the hunt for a Teaching Assistant to work in a large school in Sutton Coldfield.

This position is to begin in September 2017 and will be ongoing with the potential of turning in to a permanent opportunity.

The school is in Kingstanding just outside of Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham and has both an infant and junior site. This is a community school for pupils from three to eleven years of age.

The successful candidate will:

* Take on and develop the role of the key worker - working closely with individual children under the direction of the class teacher
* Supervising activities in groups of children within the classroom and outdoors
* Supporting pupils with nonspecific learning difficulties and autism
* Supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional and social development needs
* Assisting pupils in the use of resources including IT
* Maintaining pupils interest and motivation
* Be aware of pupil's problems, achievement, progress and report to the teacher regularly
* Liaise with parents as appropriate

You will be required to begin work at 8.15am to set up the classroom for the day and prepare any activities or work for pupils with the class teacher, the day will finish at 3.45pm just after the children have left class to enable you to tidy at the end of the day and feedback to the teacher with any relevant information. You must have experience of working within a primary school and experience of working in a reception class to be considered for the role.
