Butler Rose has been exclusively briefed by a prestigious professional services organisation to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a 12 month contract.

In this role you will be working closely with business and operational managers in commercial and shared services departments and other stakeholders, including HR and Central finance, to produce and ensure a high quality of financial reporting. Duties and responsibilities of this position:

* To work towards various financial reports including product profitability analysis and reconciliations on income and costs and to challenge thinking to improve efficiency and performance

* Providing a high standard management accounting service through preparation of timely and accurate:
- Month-end
- Journals relating to accruals
- Prepayments
- Recharges
- Investigating any discrepancies to specified deadlines.

* Producing monthly financial and KPI reports with commentary, working with relevant business managers to ensure this is fully representative of performance and expectations.

* Proactively manage the preparation of:
- Budgets
- Forecasts
- Analysis

* Manage the debtor reports process with central finance. Raise sales invoices and purchase orders when required.

* To produce other ad hoc reporting and analysis from time to time in line with the needs to the business.
