My client is one of the UK’s leading independent entertainment lighting and rigging providers who now seek an experienced Rigging Technician to join the team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensuring that jobs are prepped to the highest standard, consistently to the deadlines and in line with Health and Safety regulations.

Conducting stock checks of the rigging equipment and accurately recording information onto the central databases, spread sheets and check lists.

Proactively managing stock levels including forecasting future requirements.

Ensuring that equipment is stored safely and correctly.

Checking in and out of equipment to and from projects.

Thoroughly examining and inspecting rigging equipment and flagging any maintenance issues.

Preparing rigging equipment in line with current legislation and upcoming events.

Maintaining the level of cleanliness of the rigging department.

Standard Companywide Responsibilities:

Any other duties as required / authorised by your Line Manager / Line Management reporting line.

Comply with all Health and Safety requirements.

Comply with all Policies and Procedures.

Ensuring the Warehouse and work areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner always.

Load and Unload Trucks, when required.

To ensure that all flight cases are cleaned, maintained in line with company standards, labelled and stored appropriately.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

Familiar with LOLER regulations.

Rigging Inspection Qualification.

High level of both written and verbal communication.

Ability to take ownership and accountability.

Autonomy and the ability to work as part of a team.

Customer focused with a high level of attention to detail.

Adaptable and results orientated.

Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft office.

Ability to work for paid overtime when required (including weekends).
