Due the growing success we are now seeking a Marketing Assistant to join the team. The primary objective of this role is to provide marketing and general administrative support across our niche specialist recruitment companies, which together form the STR Group.

This is a multi-tasking role requiring a range of skills and requirements. The Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Manager and will provide support to the Sales & Marketing Team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist with the production of marketing materials, literature and PR.
* Provide support for corporate events.
* Provide regular reports/ stats on Social Media activity and resulting website traffic.
* Perform any other duties commensurate with these responsibilities/ this role.
* Ensure the companies' websites are up to date, with relevant and interesting copy.
* Maintenance of internal/external websites, maintaining relationships with 3rd
* Involved with the administration of social media sites for the STR Group portfolio of brands.
* Assist with company mailers and mailshots and e-campaigns
* Manage job advertising credits for the business and organise trials with job boards.
* Set up new users on the company's internal computer systems.
* Assist with regular database cleansing.
* Manage the filing system of existing/new client contracts both electronically and hard copy.
* Perform any other duties commensurate with these responsibilities/this role.

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant business qualification or experience of working in a Marketing/Sales or office environment. Excellent communication skills are a must;

* A 'can do' attitude and the ability to be flexible.
* Ability to demonstrate good administrative and organisational capability.
* Excellent written and verbal skills.
* An understanding of marketing principles and good copywriting skills is desirable.
* Ability to learn quickly.
* Ability to work as part of the wider team within the business or autonomously as required.
* Good knowledge of software packages including Microsoft Office.
* Experience of Adobe InDesign / Adobe Photoshop is desirable.
* Knowledge of IT systems would be advantageous.

Self-driven individual and a natural organiser with a positive outlook. You will be motivated, reliable and keen to learn new systems, tools and techniques. A team player who is diligent and conscientious.
