Salary circa £32,000 depending on experience

My client has been established or over 20 years, building up extensive experience and expert knowledge in the supply and application of specialist treatments for surfaces.

We are delighted to be working with them to recruit for a Company Accountant. The ideal candidate will be qualified or QBE.

Reporting Directly to the Finance Director you will be responsible for all day to day accounting duties including cash book postings, purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll.

Responsibilities will include:

Invoice matching to PO's
Checking all invoices and expense claims
Processing payments and remittance to suppliers
Reconciling statements
Credit Control
Check foreign accounts
Posting of month end journals and reconciliation of accounts and forex transactions
Maintaining the asset register
Payroll, Tax and pensions
Month End Management Accounts
VAT/Intrastat/EC VAT

You must also be prepared to help in HR issues.

This is a very busy hand on role and will suite someone who has worked in a similar role for an SME.
