Maintenance Technician

Site: Crewe

Hours of Work: 6 - 2, 2 - 10, 10 - 6 (Monday to Friday)

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager

Purpose: To ensure the safe and continual maintenance and repairs of all on site machinery and site facilities.

Personnel Profile;

Individual should have proven experience of fast moving manufacturing practices. Individuals must have experience of working in a production environment that has dedicated timescales and deliveries and be electronically and mechanically competent. Individuals should be flexible and demonstrate a level of pride in their ability. You should be flexible in your attitude and have good communication abilities.

Main Duties;

* To ensure safety & production is maintained
* To carry out the day to day site maintenance of production, services and facilities both internally and externally
* To work on PPM schedules in conjunction with the Operations team
* To maintain maintenance, facility and statutory records as required for company, security, health, safety, and environmental legislation.

* Carrying out general administrative duties i.e., orders & any other relevant documentation required by the company.
* To assist on projects which arise due to company production and factory requirements.
* Be flexible and work within or around any area of the site as demand dictates given appropriate training.
* Be flexible to work across sites so far as reasonably practicable.
* Performing role in accordance with the policies and procedures of the maintenance department.
* To be able to work to agreed performance levels and maintain a continuous improvement ethos.
* Ensuring the health safety and welfare, by compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and Procedures.
* Implementing systems and procedures in line with Company rules and policies.Health and Safety All employees are required to report any security incident and processing malfunctions to their immediate Supervisor or Manager.
