*70/30 split between writing good code, architecting code, solutions to products 70%

*30% spent managing the team.

Our client is the UK's leading video hosting platform. They are committed to helping businesses around the globe realise the full commercial potential of video through a simple and intuitive platform that just works.

Based in SW London, but with staff around the world, they pride ourselves on maintaining a small, but friendly working atmosphere complete with perks such as fresh fruit, snacks and breakfast, (optional) Friday beers, and a truly awful coffee machine.

The Role
Our client is looking for a full stack developer who has a particularly special place
in their heart for Ruby. The job is based in their (zone 1) London office working as a senior
member of our cross functional Scrum development team. You would be architecting and writing
code for our entire platform with potential to touch everything from backend programming and
infrastructure automation through to building amazing user experiences in React.js.

You would ideally have 4+ years mid to senior development experience and a computer science
degree or equivalent backing that up. You will have had a significant hand leading a development team through to successful delivery of products and enjoy mentoring your more junior team mates.

*JavaScript (we like ES6, React & Redux)
*AWS / Google Cloud Platform

*Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
*Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the platform
*Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
