Our client is part of a volume franchise main dealer group who requires an experienced Used Car Sales Manager that understands the processes and standards that make used car sales profitable and successful based in the Stockport area of Cheshire.

Used Car Sales Manager, Stockport, Cheshire

Salary and Benefits:

£55,000 OTE plus car and benefits

Type of Role:

This is a full time permanent role that includes weekends but with one weekend in three off. The rota will be discussed in full at interview.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

- To ensure all sales enquiries are dealt with efficiently and professionally
- Management of the sales team and sales processes
- Control of stock profile, presentation and ageing
- Management and purchasing of used car stock
- Management and control of profit margins
- To coach and develop Sales Executives to excel in their role
- Ensure the sales team deliver professional customer service at all times

Skills and Experience Required:

It is essential that you have current or recent Motor Trade experience as a Used Car Sales Manager with strong leadership and motivational skills and hold a full valid driving licence.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the used car market, pricing, stock profiling and management of ageing stock.

It would be a distinct advantage to have evidence of recent achievements in sales targets, profit per unit and stock profiling.
