PA/ Assistant to the Meeting & Travel Services Lead
Harlow - Hertfordshire
£12 - £13 per hour
Immediate Start - 6 month contract

The opportunity for an Assistant has arisen within an established Research company. Providing team support you'll need to be able to work to deadlines efficiently.

The ideal Assistant will be able to work autonomously and independently but also know when to reach out for help.

Experience Required:

* Would be suitable for a graduate looking to gain experience in the travel and meetings industry.
* Experience in travel and meetings preferred but not essential.
* Proficient computer skills - PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.
* Highly organised with excellent communication skills, oral and written.
* Comfortable working independently with the ability to be proactive and assertive.
* Need to be flexible and able to work under pressure.
* To be able to work in a compliant environment.

Core responsibilities:

* Facilitate relationship between internal stakeholders and our preferred meeting planning agency (American Express).
* Assist with the international, national and internal meetings process between stakeholder and American Express.
* Participate in various work streams or initiatives to enhance meeting and travel activities.
* Align with local, regional and global compliance requirements.
* Maintaining service excellence for both meetings and travel.
* Review on line registration site and related email communications to ensure correct information is uploaded for each individual meeting.
* E2E meetings process control.
* Check budgets, billing summaries and final reconciliation of meetings.
* Provide general administrative support.
