We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for an immediate start 12 month maternity cover for a well established Furniture Wholesaler, offering an immediate start and an hourly pay rate of £9.00 per hour. Part or full time candidates will be considered for this opportunity but candidates must be prepared to undertake a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be required to work on a full time basis Monday to Friday to provide support to the Accounts team. Working within a small but busy environment the purchase ledger clerk will be required to carryout the following duties:

- Updating purchase ledger daybook in excel.
- Raising Purchase Invoices
- Raising Purchase Order Numbers
- Reconciling purchase ledger for supplier statements
- Liaising with customers via the telephone to reconcile queries
- Working to department deadlines
- Experience of Microsoft Excel required.
- Other ad-hoc administration duties when required.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Sage Line 50 or 200 and will have worked within a busy Purchase Ledger role before.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9.00 - 17:00 full time or alternatively 20 hours over 5 days if part time.
