Regional Facilities Manager

Covering South -Bristol to Suffolk down


Reporting to the Regional Operations Director the successful candidate will be managing the provision of Facilities Management Services with contractual Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements. Along with leading the FM provision they will be accountable for the coordination of Environmental, Health & Safety, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity policies and procedures.

The Individual will lead their people, managing change, and effectively managing performance to create a world class FM provision.

They individual will also foster an environment of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to increase service and profit.


* Leading, coaching and developing the team
* Ensuring that sufficient internal/external training is provided
* Developing best practice for FM services on site to drive service and quality improvements across the contract
* Carry out regular site audits e.g. KPI , Health & Safety etc
* Regular quality monitoring
* Regular quality checks
* Providing assistance with more complex related requests
* Ensure that all aspects of Health and Safety are covered and the correct documentation is held.
* Ensure the site meets statutory compliance regulations
* Ensure a robust incident management plan is in place and is tested regularly
* Ensure all project work is completed within the required timescales
* Liaise with the small works team on revenue and capital projects
* Responsible for managing and reporting on budgets and resources
* Responsible for the management of the delivery of sub contracted services
* Analysing data to identify efficiencies
* Being involved in account-wide initiatives to focus on innovation and improvement

The ideal candidates will have the following attributes and experience:

* Ideally technically qualified in B&CE or M&E
* IOSH Managing Safely
* BIFM Accreditation
* Project Management Qualification
* Exceptional organisational skills
* Ability to communicate Board level colleagues through to Front line teams
* Health and Safety focussed
* Good interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Positive disposition - self-motivated and ability to motivate others
* Decision maker and problem solver
