We are recruiting for a Nursing Home Manager. An excellent opportunity at Moundsley Hall Care Village to join our purpose built care village.

The Role:

The successful candidate for the 30 bedded Unit Manager position will be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with managerial experience in the care setting.

As Unit Manager you will take charge of the day to running of the unit, responsibilities include:

  • Staff Management
  • Care Plans
  • Risk Assessments
  • Admissions
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the unit.

Unlike most Home Manager jobs, you will NOT be responsible for budgeting, marketing and fee negotiations. This is carried out by our in-house company Accountant and Human Resources Department. You will also be supported by our on-site General Manager.

Your main responsibility is to maintain a quality, caring environment which meets the needs of our residents as well as adhering to Care Quality Commission guidelines.

This position calls for an effective leader who has the ability to supervise a diverse team in order to achieve results. We also require an excellent communicator with good I.T skills, as well as relevant experience in a supervisory care position.

Background / Benefits:

  • Basic salary of £35,000 p/a depending on experience.
  • Up to an additional £5,000 p/a - Performance related bonus.
  • 28 day annual leave (including bank holidays)
  • The unit size is for 30 bedrooms.
  • The role is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with an on-call rota.
  • Located in Kings Norton Birmingham

We are set in six acres of tranquil, landscaped grounds in Kings Norton, Birmingham. Our unique location, accessed by a tree-lined avenue, provides a country setting whilst enjoying the amenities of an urban location with ample parking.
