WR Fundraising Recruitment is acting on behalf of one of London’s most recognisable homeless support charities and recruiting for a Corporate Partnerships Fundraising Officer generate income from existing business of various sizes and develop relationships with new corporate partners.

At an exciting time of development, we are looking for a fundraiser with a proven ability to build strong relationships with new and existing corporate supporters. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the world’s largest businesses who already support the charity.

Fundraising Officer - Corporate Partnerships

Full Time, Permanent

Wimbledon, Greater London

£26,000 per annum

This role will be based at Croydon for a short period until relocating to Wimbledon later this year.

Duties will include:

  • Responsible for building a pipeline of new business partnerships whilst managing key accounts
  • To provide excellent account management, ensuring that corporate partners receive the highest standard of customer care
  • Optimise income from corporate partners to reach and exceed fundraising targets.
  • Research, identify and call prospects to generate new business opportunities
  • Pitch for a broad company support as appropriate i.e. Donation, sponsorship, charity of the year, gifts in kind, probono and employee participation.
  • Write and develop engaging evidence-based case for support

This is a very exciting role within the fundraising department and we are looking for candidates keen to develop their career within corporate fundraising.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Enthusiasm to be part of an inspirational fundraising team, delivering a fresh approach to engagement with key stakeholders
  • Experience of account management in a sales or fundraising environment
  • Track record in winning new business
  • Confident and experienced public speaker with the ability to deliver presentations and pitch for support articulating information in a persuasive manner
  • Experience of liaising with and managing high level supporters, external suppliers and customers, and a solid understanding of the principles of customer care
  • Hold a strong positive regard for homeless people and their circumstances, and the issues leading to homelessness
