Deputy General Manager - Events Venue Mon-Fri £38K-London

Our client a prestigious events venue which attracts significant high profile events, are looking for an experienced Deputy General Manager within the hospitality industry with a good track record of management of people and all aspects of the Banqueting, Events, Hospitality and Bar operations.

The successful candidates for the role of Deputy General Manager will be able to lead the Operations team to deliver extraordinary service to clients and guests.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be fully accountable for the operational aspects of the business, while achieving financial targets and compliance with legislation, health & safety, food Hygiene, licencing and employments laws. Assist with recruitment; manage disciplinary issues when needed, ensure staff are trained to company standards in order to delivery outstanding customer service.

The right candidate needs to be positive and dynamic. Highly motivated and efficiently organised with a strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for managing the Events & Banqueting business, dinners, corporate events and some weddings.

You must have previous experience in working within a high volume stand-alone banqueting and hospitality environment. Inspire and motivate the team with passion, energy and commitment. You must be able to manage the finance of your department.

You need to have excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, good presentation, a team player with a flexible attitude to working hours.
