Account Manager - Subscriptions
£24000 - £26000, plus £10000- £15000 OTE
Our client is a leading international events and publishing company for the finance sector. They provide financial news, analysis and information on global trade finance sector for banks, insurers and corporate clients. Products include world leading magazine, online platform and international conferences.
They are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to manage current subscribers to their Business Information platform.
This is a truly unique opportunity to work as an Account Manager across the subscriber portfolio.
Day to day you will:
*Develop an in depth understanding of the client base
*Understanding client's requirements and who they want to target in order to offer the best solution
*Meet clients to demonstrate full service that can be offered and build long term relationships
*Follow up leads generated through marketing and other areas of the business in order to bring on new subscribers
*Analyse new accounts to monitor current usage and development areas
*Focus on key account management growth including upselling and cross-selling other products- Sponsorship, events and advertising.
As an Account Manager you will need to have lots of energy and a strong drive, you will also need the following:
*A strong academic back ground (2.1 or above desirable but not essential)
*A strong sales understanding and experience in a phone based new business sales role.
*Interest in finance but prior knowledge is not a pre-requisite.
*Confident and articulate communication
*Enthusiastic and positive approach
*Hard working and driven to succeed
