Our client, a well established quality branded hotel are currently recruiting for a full time Meetings & Events Sales Executive. The hotel operates a number of meeting rooms and are a destination conference & wedding venue.

You will become an integral member of the team to deliver excellence to all their valued customers in the hotel, through the teams in all departments. This is a role, where they engage with you; give you practical training, development and progression within a dynamic and rapidly expanding company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct "show rounds" for prospective clients
  • Deal with all meeting and event enquires received through all channels
  • Effective implementation of the pricing strategy, ensuring diary management guidelines are followed and key business decisions are made in conjunction with the Meeting and Events Sales Manager
  • Effective communication ensuring leads are responded to in the required time and regular contact is made to the progress of each booking
  • Be responsible for updating Sales & Catering with accurate and relevant information to ensure effective conversion
  • Ensure that all site inspections are fulfilled professionally, efficiently and matched to each and every client's needs

Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
