Since 2009 we have successfully placed over 1300 qualified accountants in specialist volunteer roles.
AfID is urgently seeking an exceptional individual to join the Marketing, Recruitment & Communications team to assist with the rapid expansion of our already successful specialist global charity volunteer & recruitment services.
The Role: We are seeking an outgoing, articulate and extremely well-organised marketer, communications officer or recruiter to assist our Global Partnerships & Recruitment Team providing direct support to our many non-profit partners, both in the UK and overseas. You will be part of a research and development team building our network of charity partners, volunteers, accountants, accounting networks globally through various digital marketing, relationship building programmes and other marketing and communications mediums.
The individual will be expected to help manage and improve the efficiency of a number of recruitment projects including digital marketing, new charity partner research & acquisition, editorial and online advert copy writing. We hope the successful candidate will add to their role and bring new, original and creative ideas that will expand our network of supporters, charity partners and most importantly volunteers and candidates globally.
The role will initially provide direct support to the Global Partnerships Team as they quickly expand and develop existing key relationships with AfID’s many charity & NGO partners globally to include all of our three service lines; Overseas Volunteers, UK Volunteers & Recruitment Services. After a short induction the individual will take full responsibility for the provision UK Volunteer Services to our UK based Charity partners. The individual will also work closely with the Overseas Volunteer Manager on marketing and recruitment strategies.

About You: You must have phenomenal networking and a talent for communication in a variety of forms and be super organised. Your written English must be perfect. First and foremost you must be able to demonstrate an ability to engage, build rapport and develop effective professional relationships with AfID’s diverse and wide client and customer demographic.
