I Am Recruiting for a Senior Membership Officer to join a prestigious national professional membership body in Central London.
Our client is looking for a proven coordinator with great knowledge of membership in a professional association/institute. The role is extremely varied and requires somebody with the ability to pick things up quickly, a team player, one that is comfortable liaising with colleagues at all levels and has a diplomatic & calm approach to work.
A good part of the role will revolve around the art of assessing members and applicants for particular qualifications offered by the organisation. This will involve working with: a panel of assessors, a committee of volunteers, candidates, senior managers, the ICT team and the whole membership team (which is made up of 5 staff).
The successful candidate must have the following: strong professional membership experience, understanding of how to assess professional aptitude, IT/CRM database skills, ability to analyse statistical data, stakeholder management, procedures & systems knowledge.
In addition, there will be some UK travel required, once or twice a month for events and liaising with employers.
