You will take overall responsibility for the leadership and management of your residential home to ensure the development and maintenance of consistent professional standards in meeting the needs of each service user. This will include, but not be limited to maintaining staffing levels and planning of staff rota's, ensuring staff training is completed and up to date, assisting with funding and budgeting, managing staff reviews, appraisals and disciplinary action and taking responsibility for health and safety issues.

What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your caring, patient and helpful nature you will need previous experience managing a residential care home for people with learning disabilities. NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care is required. Your excellent organisational and managerial skills will ensure the smooth running of the home in order to deliver the best service possible to residents. An enhanced DBS will need to be completed prior to commencing work.

What you'll get in return
Providing great support and development to its staff members, this is an opportunity to further your experience and skill-set within the social care sector in order to develop a successful and rewarding career.
