Trace are currently recruiting alongside a global NGO to recruit a Institutional Funding Accountant. The successful applicant will provide support to the charities International Directorate on all aspects of institutional donor financial management and be the first source of financial management to large and complex international institutional donor projects.

The post holder will be responsible for providing financial management for global and multi-country institutional donor projects that cross over International Directorate Regions, providing financial surge support to large and complex international institutional donor projects and being the centre of institutional donor knowledge and advice in International Finance. The Institutional Funding Accountant will also provide business partner support Cash & Markets team within Finance.

You’ll be a Qualified/Finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIPFA/CIMA) with experience of the following;

•Developing financial systems to support international operations

•Supporting the financial elements of institutional donor programmes

•Supporting programme teams with budget and forecast preparation

•Experience of risk management

•Working with international programmes

•Foreign currency monitoring and accounting

Applying candidates should also have strong audit and internal controls knowledge with the ability to highlight weaknesses and make appropriate recommendations as well as the ability to assimilate complex financial and written information quickly and accurately
