The Eastern Western Motor Group, Scotland’s leading, prestige, independent motor retailer is currently recruiting for a Business Development Consultant.

The main purpose of the role is to promote and develop New Vehicle Sales and Finance Contracts from the Business User sector operating in Edinburgh, Lothian’s and Borders area. To create a Corporate awareness and visibility in the Business User sector and to provide a Business Solution to New Vehicle purchase and financing. To target businesses with a maximum fleet of 10 vehicles and to achieve Sales Targets as agreed with the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

•To contact and develop business relationships with the many and varied number of Business Units operating in the Edinburgh/Lothian and Borders area.
•To offer a new and unique solution to New Vehicle purchase and financing for Business Users.
•To promote and sell vehicles from within the current EWMG portfolio and to also commit to the supply and funding of all other marques.
•To promote and develop the sale of Business User Finance products including Hire Purchase (Fixed and Varied), PCP, Contract Hire and Leasing.
•To develop relationships with the branch Corporate Sales teams and to liaise with the Group Corporate Sales Administrator.
•To prospect and follow up as required by management.
•To ensure that all administration work is of a high standard.
•To ensure that all invoicing is correct at all times and that vehicles are paid for in the parameters laid down.
•Complete a daily call log and submit to the Manager (EWFS) at the end of every week.
•Review all Business User clients every month and update the Manager (EWFS).
•Maintain all product knowledge and sales training aids.
•Liaise as necessary with Franchise Personnel.
•Attend training courses as required and appropriate.
•Work closely with Group Marketing
