Senior C++ Software Engineer
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum + an employee share scheme, flexible working, TOIL, 1 day home working per week, 25 days annual leave + 8
Permanent role based in Cwmbran, South Wales

Based in the technical hub of Cwmbran, our innovative Big Data client in the Mobile Advertising space is searching for Senior C++ Software Engineers to join their dynamic team as a result of their success and expansion. Working primarily in C / C++ and associated technologies, this is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Engineer to work at a highly ambitious company who work in the big data space within the exciting and rapidly growing mobile advertising industry. They are currently working with some of the largest network providers around the globe including EE, MTS, Airtel and Verizon and have a number of green field projects within the development pipeline. Using the latest software development methodologies and technologies the successful candidate will join a team of highly skilled professional and will play an integral role within the full software development lifecycle.

Essential experience:

* Extensive experience in programming in C++
* Experience of developing maintainable and efficient code using SOLID principles, design patterns, TDD / BDD
* Proven experience of leadership within high performing development teams
*Working within an AGILE environment

Desirable, but not essential skills:

* Devops
* Experience of network protocols
