£45,000 + car/car allowance + pension

  • Will be accountable for driving business growth in the branches in the London area
  • Will be accountable for the clinical delivery and governance of all packages within London
  • Will be accountable for the operational delivery of all packages within London

Prism7 Recruitment are looking for an experienced candidate who will join a reputable company as the Complex Care Lead, covering the London area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all clinical and governance within the London area.

Job objectives

  • Growth and development of the business to set targets and objectives in the London area
  • Responsible for all management responsibilities for packages within London area
  • Accountable for all clinical and governance responsibilities for packages within the London area

Main duties

  • To work with the Business Development Director to ensure there is a detailed growth plan in place, with clear targets aligned to the business annual budgets
  • Responsible for all marketing and acquisition of new packages within the London area
  • Engage all funder types to gain new packages of care for the business, these include but are not limited to Clinical Commissioning Groups, Local Authorities, Hospitals, Specialist Units, case management companies, third sector organisations, and Occupational Therapists
  • Utilising competitor and market information to inform marketing and attraction strategies
  • Work with the Business Development Team to define the marketing strategy for London, including promotional material and key target areas
  • To deliver against business targets and growth targets set by the company
  • Be accountable to the Senior Leadership Team for growth performance completing MI returns as instructed
  • Act as an ambassador for the brand in the local community
  • Responsible for maintaining local web based presence to support continued growth of the current Market
  • Oversee and drive effective mobilisation of all new packages within London
  • Undertake Clinical Assessments, Risk Assessments and other assessments appropriate to client need and own knowledge and skills as a Registered Nurse
  • Plan individualised care, nursing intervention and rehabilitation as appropriate to client need using a person centred approach
  • Assist the Nurse Lead with Hospital Discharge arrangements and the development of new packages of care
  • Personally deliver and deliver by delegation, a high quality complex care nursing service to a group of allocated clients in accordance with CQC, NMC and other professional bodies
  • In conjunction with the client, family and informal carers exercise own professional judgement to refer to other health professionals when necessary, GP, local or specialist hospitals etc.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, specialists nurses, healthcare and social care professionals, external bodies and other managers within the business, remaining professional at all times
  • Ensure a high level of customer/client satisfaction though excellent and sensitive communication, empathy, ability to manage complex relationships, proactively managing expectations and creating solutions for clients; providing reassurance and instilling confidence in the service
  • Trouble-shoot technical and service delivery problems
  • Ensure that clients, families and informal carers remain central to our services
  • Ensure the accuracy of all clinical records and data completed within the allocated care packages
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of all company`s policies and procedures, national care standards, best practice in complex care and Health & Safety regulations
  • Provide a professional service to the company as required
  • Play a role in the continuous development of the complex care service and the company
  • Uphold the company`s values in service delivery, recruitment, undertaking risk assessments, induction training and managing the day to day running of your allocated packages
  • Ensure that the team are fully trained and competent to perform their role with up to date training records to evidence current mandatory and extended skills training
  • Plan and deliver training to Personal Assistants, Care Co-ordinators, family members or informal carers, student nurses and others as appropriate within each package to include the identification of risk of deteriorating health and wellbeing, record keeping, basic and advanced care skills, delegated healthcare tasks and nursing interventions.

Person requirements

  • Registered nurse - adult/registered general nurse (RGN)
  • Minimum of 2 years post registration experience
  • Previous business development and relationship management experience is preferable
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent preferably in health and social care but
  • Proven track record in achievement of KPIs and performance targets
  • A positive, enthusiastic professional with a "will do" attitude
  • Passionate about commercially doing the right thing, with strong customer focus, A natural desire to deliver results in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Able to think differently and accurately interpret trends and insight to proactively identify and implement appropriate solutions
  • Commercially astute; able to drive value for money, with experience of working in a low margin business
  • Structured, planned and fast paced in approach with the ability to energise and motivate those around them
  • Excellent design capability linked to the ability to execute flawlessly and with pace
  • Strong communication and exceptional people skills; able to confidently and effectively influence and work with people at all levels in the organisation
  • Able to travel across London with occasional visits to Birmingham and other locations
