Ethero Staffing Coventry is looking for a Project Manager to join a successful fast growing international company. Experience is more important than qualifications. Telecoms background is an advantage, OIL & GAS experience will be GREAT!

The successful candidate will be required to go through Security Clearance.

Salary up to £45,000
Location: Coventry
Six month probation period
Pension after 3 months service
23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Manage project from contract award through to completion.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide single point of contact and single point of responsibility to both the customer and divisional project manager for any aspect associated with the project under their control. To manage direct reporting staff.

HARD SKILLS

• Contract negotiation
• Supplier negotiation and control
• Project life cycle management
• Resource planning including R&R matrix
• Customer and supplier liaison
• Commercial responsibility for compliance with contract terms and conditions
• Control and management of variations (pre and post VO award)
• Project design and engineering understanding
• Proactive and consistent approach to documentation
• Financial responsibility for contract performance, reporting and invoicing
• Project cash flow forecasting and management
• To build a harmonious working project team
• Detailed reporting to customer and divisional project manager
• Jobcard completion and control
• Interface between other divisions and departments
• Management of IDR meetings and reviews as appropriate
• On time project delivery

REQUIRED

Ability to work autonomously
3 years experience of managing major new projects
Sound technical and commercial telecoms knowledge
Excellent IT and communication skills

PREFERRED

Detailed technical knowledge of multiple communication systems

Experience within the divisional marketplace
