Managing an operational team of 2nd and 3rd line engineers,you will be responsible for ensuring this inward looking role allows all internal staff full access of IT Systems without little or no disruption. An offsite service desk which is part of the company will take initial calls for all support queries and filter down in the traditional ticketing way.

Managing a team of engineers, you will ensure the necessary development and training as well as continuous improvements is ongoing. You will be the escalation point as well as be the 'face' for the VIP's and Senior Management team, therefore exceptional communication skills are key.

Managing the technical operations team is only 50% of this role, you will also be responsible for developing a technical understanding of the IT platforms, establishing and maintaining a strong working relationship with the Service Operations team and ensure the associated service KPI's and SLAs are achieved and improved with responsibility for delivering continual service improvement across the IT assets and services. You must be prepared to be hands on, and whilst its not a huge part of the role, if the company has any P1 incidents, it's a 'all hands on deck' mentality which you will lead/drive.

Ideal candidates will be experienced people managers, possess good technical background and be very comfortable working with and supporting high level Execs.
