This is a fantastic opportunity for an Out of Court Disposal (OOCD) Practitioner to join the People Directorate, Young People Service team as part of a multi agency, multi professional team with statutory responsibilities for young people who have offended. Working in conjunction with other agencies the post holder will assist in diverting young people who have committed low level offences away from the youth justice system through the delivery of OOCD.

The post holder post holder will take responsibility for the assessment, planning, co-ordinating referrals to other agencies, and delivery of individual programmes to prevent young people from becoming further involved in crime.

In addition, the post holder will provide advice and consultation as appropriate to partner agencies on their work involving young people who have offended.
